INDUSTRY RATE CHANGES FOR AUGUST 2008

With effect from the 1st  August 2008 the following rate changes will be coming into effect:

BAF charges will be increasing from $610.00 to $675.00 plus $12.00 low sulphur fuel surcharge per 20ft container and from $1220.00 to $1350.00 plus $24.00 low sulphur fuel surcharge per 40ft container.

BAF for LCL charges will increase from $30.50 to $33.75 per weight/measure plus $0.60 low sulphur fuel surcharge.

CAF charges will decrease from 17.4% to 17.1% of the total freight value.

These charges will be applicable for all sailings from August 1st onwards.
