SEAFREIGHT INDUSTRY RATE CHANGES JUNE 2009

With effect from 1st June 2009 the following BAF / CAF rate changes will be coming into effect:

BAF rates will range from $231.00 to $580.00 per 20ft container and from $462.00 to $1160.00 per 40ft container for all shipments originating from the Far East.

BAF rates will range from $191.00 to $382.00 per 20 ft container and from $382.00 to $764.00 per 40ft container for all shipments originating from the Middle East.

CAF rates will range from 7.87% to 10.97% of the total freight value for all shipments originating from the Far East.

CAF rates will range from 7.87% to 8.08% of the total freight value for al shipments originating from the Middle East.

These new rates will be applicable for all sailings from the 1st June onwards.
