SEAFREIGHT INDUSTRY RATE CHANGES SEPTEMBER 2009

With effect from the 1st September 2009 the following rate changes will be coming into effect:

BAF rates will range from $375.00 to $493.00 per 20ft container and $750.00 to $986.00 per 40ft container

CAF rates will range from 10.26% to 15.56% of the total freight value.

In addition to current surcharges There will be the an additional GRI as follows:

GRI will range from $175.00 to $300.00
